Again and again, entrepreneurs I speak with on the topic of outsourcing repeat the same obstacles. Can you relate to any of these::
- I am a control freak.
- I have to find someone that can do it as good as I can first.
- It is faster to do it myself than it is to train someone else.
These fears are understandable, I admit, early in my career I thought this way myself. Then I realized, I had to let go to grow.
We are going to debunking these myths today in Clone Camp.
For now I want to highlight research that identifies these obstacles as middle class barriers to growth.
In fact, 9/10 self-made millionaires self report than when faced with tasks they are not exceptional at they are very likely to outsource that task to someone who can do it better.
On the flip side, 2/3 middle class respondents indicated when faced with tasks they are not exceptional at they would likely keep doing it anyway.
Build your millionaire mindset in Clone Camp + beyond in How to Clone Yourself.
I’ll see you there!
TWEET IT!
Waiting to hire until you find someone that can do it as good as you can? That’s the wrong strategy!
Let go to grow.

Thank you for this reminder, Amber! I definitely tend to get stuck in trying to do it myself and it’s only been lately that I’ve started to shift that! So excited to be in How to Clone Yourself and learning how to let go of soooo much more in my business so I can truly step into my CEO! 🙂
Hey Jess! I’m excited about this shift you are making! It feels so good!!!!
For small businesses that are growing it is important for them to focus on the important aspects of business rather than unproductive administrative tasks. But these administrative tasks are also important for smooth running of the business. So it is fine idea to outsource these tasks and focus on more core business activities.
