Your Million Dollar Marketing Plan Made Simple

Before you think…Did I make a wrong turn? I’m here for NiceOps, I want to talk about business. I don’t want to talk about my life….or my feelings. Has Amber gone all life coach on me?

Rest assured. You are still in the right place.

The principle of LifeOps is simple. As business owners, the line between life and business is blurred. Not everything fits into a neat little bucket, and I wanted to provide a space for discussion around how things REALLY get done.

As a mom with three kids, ages 15 and 3, plus a newborn, my life is delightfully messy. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Amid the world of lifestyle entrepreneurs frolicking on the beach, LifeOps is going to talk about what it is like really being a Mom and the CEO.

Because my friends, this is reality.

22 Million businesses with just one employee – 52% of which work from home.

That’s a lot of people juggling a lot of stuff, including the dreaded “what’s for dinner?” question, because you know, you’ve been lounging all day long. And even more people who need to know that amid the chaos, you are exactly where you need to be. Even if your toddler just stole all your sharpies and drew all over the sofa, like mine did, or the cat just threw up on your laptop.

LifeOps is where life and business intersect. It may be messy, but it is real.

From time to time, you’ll see LifeOps posts here on the blog and we’ll be including them all September long, because if there’s ever a time of year we need help keeping it all together, this is it.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments — Do you find yourself juggling a lot of variables and dread the “what’s for dinner” question as much as I do?

LOVE it! “Buckets” just don’t seem to work in our world right now (as much as I attempt to have ‘work time/family time’…

(as for the ‘what’s for dinner’ question…more often than not, the answer is sushi)

    • Amber McCue says:

Mmm we love some sushi too!! My teen likes the expensive Sushi though so we have to alternative between Sushi and noodles. 😉

  2. Brandy Burbridge says:

I absolutely will be looking forward to this series of posts! I’m a full-time work at home mom and the dreaded question about ‘What’s for dinner’ is so real to me and made me laugh, thanks for sharing : )

    • Amber McCue says:

I know, Brandy!! That darn “what’s for dinner” question!

After making so many decisions all day long — between 35-90,000 if you are a business owner — it is really possible to experience decisions making fatigue.

You've built a business that works...

You are productive, but you aren’t sure you are getting the right things done, and you didn’t become a business owner to work 24/7 and wear 15 different hats. You want freedom, meaningful work, and to enjoy your one and only life. You need a solid strategy & you need to know where to focus, because your time is precious.
