Happy Friday, All! Yeah, yeah!
I don’t know about you, but when the weekend arrives I often find myself wishing I had more time to get a few extra things done before I roll into relaxation mode. Â Then I remembered, sometimes you don’t need all the time in the world to get more done. Â See what I mean in this video that Audrey (my 5 month old) and I made for you… As you can imagine, I’ve been testing time management techniques a lot lately.
So, to get more done in less time —- tested and proven:
1) Self impose deadlines
2) Give yourself less time than you think you need to get ‘er done!
What do you think? Â And what other deadlines do you have to get more done with less time?
I’ll be putting them to the test this weekend!
xoxo,
Amber

You are so stinking smart. I love this approach! It is so much easier to think about in terms of 15 minute increments. Thanks for the tips!
Yeah!! Glad you like! 🙂
Very good advice Amber! I use this tip often. Audrey is getting so big. Beautiful!
Thanks, Kimberly. She is getting big – it is crazy how fast they grow up!
Love this tip on cleaning! Ours is a 10-minute-tidy!!!
Focus, focus, focus, do, do, do…and be done with it.
BTW, you always select the coolest music to your videos. And Audrey is so darn cute!!!!
I’m going to drag and drop this into my “when I have kids” file for sure!! I totally love the 15 min timer and forgot about even doing it at your house. 🙂
When I get the phone call from my husband saying he is on his way home from work I know I have 20 minutes to run around the house and pick up! For some reason I the house looks cleaner than if I had the whole day to pick up! Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, Erin! And he never has to know!! 😀 xoxo
GREAT tips, I am so putting this into action I need serious help with deadlines…procrastination is such a bugger!!!! Weekend? What is a weekend? lol! Thanks! Your baby is adorable, she apparently loves your watch =)
Amber, Lovin the 15 minute timer idea. Now if I can just get my hubby to play along 😉 LOL – actually we gave this a successful whirl last night & it truly was surprising what could be accomplished in that little bit of time….Initially, I came to your blog to view the ‘flexing your intuition muscles’ video on the advice of a facebook friend – loved that, and read around a bit until I found this topic which spoke to me perfectly – thanks again for your shares 🙂
